Perth Concert Hall  (16 miles) opened in June 2005, provides for all the people of Perthshire and beyond, whether into Elgar or Elvis, Greek tragedy or stand-up comedy.  So 'music' covers everything from classical concerts to rock, pop, world, traditional, country and jazz.  'Drama' covers classics, new writing, comedy, panto and children's shows.  Also, light entertainment - clairvoyants, tribute bands and comedy nights.  There can be jamming sessions in the theatre bar, jazz in the studio theatre, lunchtime lights in the concert hall's studio, but the full-on orchestras with 70 musicians and two pianos appear in the main auditorium - they would not fit anywhere else.

Perth Theatre  (16 miles) is one of the oldest repertory theatres in the UK.  The theatre's superb yearly programme offers a series of two-week productions and a Christmas pantomime.  Many famous TV personalities have trod the boards here, including Una Stubbs, Andy Gray and Lorraine Chase.

Dundee Rep Theatre (18 miles)   Based at the heart of the city's cultural quarter, The REP is a unique organisation in the UK, providing the most comprehensive arts services in Scotland, offering audiences an all year round mix of theatre, dance, music, comedy and more.

The Black Watch Museum  (16 miles) exhibits two centuries of military history of the 42nd/73rd Highland regiments, paintings, medals, uniforms and weapons.

Perth Museum and Art Gallery  (16 miles).  One of the oldest museums in Britain with major collections of silver, glass, art, photography, archaeology and human and natural history.

Fergusson Gallery  (16 miles) is a stylish gallery devoted to J. D. Fergusson, the Scottish colourist artist.

McManus Galleries and Museum, Dundee (18 miles). McManus Galleries and Museum is a splendid Gothic Revival-style building housing Dundee's main collection. McManus' current displays offer a fascinating insight into Dundee's colourful past, through exhibitions of Art, History and the Environment.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre  (25 miles)  With one of the largest and most skilled ensembles of actors in the UK and a repertoire system that allows visitors to see up to six different plays in a week, Pitlochry Festival Theatre is truly unique.  The theatre is set in a small town nestling amongst the hills and lochs of beautiful Highland Perthshire.

Glenlyon Gallery (35 miles) is a unique gallery specialising in wildlife, landscape and sporting originals, limited edition prints and sculpture by renowned artist Alan B. Hayman.
